The Historic Environment Scotland Summer School is an annual event with a series of talks, workshops and activities on building conservation and traditional skills over the course of 5 days.

Doors Open Days
Stirling City Heritage Trust supports Doors Open Days which are held in September every year. The event, co-ordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust, allows access to buildings which may otherwise be closed to the public as well as offering training events and guided tours.
In recent years the Trust has contributed to the Stirling Doors Open Days ranging from organising guided walks to a children’s art competition and also participated in events at the Historic Environment Scotland’s Engine Shed.
The Engine Shed: Scotland’s Building Conservation Centre
Historic Environment Scotland are restoring a derelict Engine Shed in Stirling and transforming it into Scotland’s first dedicated building conservation centre. The building will be open to the public and will host numerous activities, demonstrations and courses.

Stirling Civic Trust Architecture Award
The Trust participates in this bi-annual architecture award which celebrates good design and conservation in local building projects.
